Fitting

How it works — three steps, ~30 seconds per window

The panel is not glued to the whole window. You slide it behind the seal and press down thin, clear 3M tape strips. It holds firmly — and comes off in seconds.

Sliding a tint panel behind the window seal

STEP 1

Slide the panel behind the seal

Lower the window and slide the panel behind the rubber seal. It is cut for your model, so it goes exactly where it should.

Applying clear 3M tape strips along the edge of the panel

STEP 2

Stick on the 3M tape strips

Stick the thin, clear strips along the edge of the panel. They hold firmly and stay invisible once fitted.

Pressing down the top edge of a fitted panel

STEP 3

Press down the top edge

Press the panel against the top edge of the window and raise it. The whole thing takes well under a minute.

Why CiemnaSzyba

Tinting you stay in control of

Taking a tint panel off and putting it back on

Off in seconds. Back on just as fast.

This is the big difference from glued film: the panels are fully removable. An inspection, a check, a different driver — you take them off on the spot, in seconds, and put them back whenever you like.

  • Before an inspection or a check — off on the spot, no tools
  • For winter or before selling the car — the panels store flat
  • Fit them as often as you like — spare tape strips included

Cut to the millimetre — by waterjet

We do not ship “cut it yourself” sheets. Every panel comes from a cut pattern for one specific model, year and body type. Waterjet cutting gives a smooth, repeatable edge — the panel ends exactly where your window does.

  • A cut pattern for the generation and body type — not “one size fits all”
  • A clean edge, no scorching or fraying
  • We check every set before it ships

Tint levels

5% · 20% · 30% — which level is for you?

The percentage is how much light the panel lets through. The lower the number, the darker the window.

Side window with a 5% tint panel 5%

5% — maximum tint

A strong tint. Maximum privacy and the darkest result — works best on the rear windows.

Who for: parents, carrying equipment, company cars

Side window with a 20% tint panel 20%

20% — the middle ground

A medium tint. Clearly darker windows and more privacy, still with sensible visibility.

Who for: a compromise between privacy and visibility

Side window with a 30% tint panel 30%

30% — bestseller

A light tint and the best visibility of the three. It tidies up the look of the car subtly — the most popular choice and a safe one to start with.

Who for: a first set, everyday driving

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

What holds the panels in place?

The panel slides behind the rubber window seal and is secured with thin strips of clear 3M tape — included in the kit. Nothing is glued across the whole surface, and no water or tools are needed. Taking it off takes seconds and leaves no trace.

Can the panel fall out when I slam the door?

No. The panel is rigid and cut exactly to your window, so there is no play — the seal and the tape hold it together. Opening and closing the door does it no harm.

How do they cope with heat?

We make the panels from polycarbonate — the same material as headlight lenses. It works from −40°C to +115°C. Cheaper PET films start to soften at 70–80°C, and heated surfaces inside a car can reach that in summer.

Can you see well through the panels?

Visibility depends on the level you choose. 30% tints lightly and leaves the most light — the most common choice to start with. 5% is the darkest and works best on the rear windows. If in doubt, start lighter.

Will they fit my car?

We cut to the make, model, year and body type — you select them in the configurator. If your car is not on the list, enter it manually. Coupés, convertibles, buses, panel vans and pickups can be ordered normally — for those, as for a manual entry, we confirm the cut by email before cutting.

How long do production and delivery take?

Every set is made to order, so production takes an estimated 5–14 working days. We ship across the EU and send the tracking number on the day of dispatch.

Why CiemnaSzyba

Dark windows on your terms

Removable tint panels, cut for your car — no glued film and no workshop visit.

Polycarbonate, not film

Rigid polycarbonate panels — the material used for headlight lenses and bulletproof glass. It withstands −40°C to +115°C, does not ripple and does not crack in summer.

Cut to the millimetre

We waterjet-cut every set for your model, year and body type. Nothing to trim yourself, nothing wasted.

Fitted in 30 seconds

No professional, no water, no tools. Slide the panel in, press the tape down — about 30 seconds per window.

Reusable

Take off and refit as often as you like. One set lasts for years — you can even move it to another car.

No marks on the glass

The thin 3M tape holds firmly and leaves no adhesive or scratches when removed. The glass goes back to factory condition.

Protection from the sun

The panels cut down UV radiation and help keep the interior cooler, protecting the upholstery and the dashboard.
